Telling Your Dad That You're Gay

You know, it's hard watching this and not feeling just a teensy bit bitter knowing that my own coming out experience was at the way other end of the support spectrum. My mother still thinks I'm going to hell. It would have been nice to have this kind of support, where a parent says "I still love you, son" after you've said those all defining terms "I'm Gay". Still, I'm glad that THIS end of the support spectrum is out there and kudos to the guy for videotaping a very intimate and powerful part of his life.

Yeah, They Can't Handle Me

I've had Robyn's "Handle Me" in my head all day. I thought about it, and I think a big part of self confidence comes with knowing that you'd be an asset to anyone's life you choose to be apart of intimately. The only reason I haven't found a worthwhile romantic interest is because the majority needs to catch up emotionally and intellectually. And first bitch to say something smart is a narcistic, psycho freaking, boot lickin' Nazi creep and... well, you can't handle me~!
